Social Studies

Focus - Neighborhoods
01     CULTURE - Identify the elements of different cultures in the neighborhood.
02     HISTORY/GEOGRAPHY - Compare neighborhoods of long ago to neighborhoods of today.
          Demonstrate an awareness of current events.
          Use information from maps and globes.
03     ECONOMICS - Identify natural, human, and man-made (capital) resources.
04     CITIZENSHIP/GOVERNMENT -  Describe how people work together to improve their neighborhood.
